Product Description A revision of the classic Vortex, the Kelty Gunnison 4 is a simple, lightweight tent for 3-seasons of use. The mesh panels are strategically located to provide ventilation and decrease condensation. Clip connections and DAC pressfit aluminum poles in a basic 2-pole configuration are ridiculously fast and easy to set up securely. Two doors, each with a vestibule, maximize the available floor space inside and make it easy to get out when you have to. Other features include taped seams to keep water out and internal storage pockets to help organize essentials.
Bottom Line: A room with a view.
Owner Reviews This is fantastic tent. I must state that I have only used it car camping, but it worked great. Don't let all the mesh fool you. When you put the rain fly on (I love that it covers the whole tent!) you have privacy and comfort, and still have air circulation due to the vestiblues. Under heavy rain, the rain fly did seem to trap moisture inside, but if you use the tension cords (is that the right name?) it should keep it from dripping in the tent. I am very pleased with this tent. It is suprisingly light weight for how large and roomy it is.
